Creative Writing and Research

Course Description:
This is a required course for practice based on formal and creative writing. This course stimulates students to advance in the speaking, writing, and research skills. The course involves close analysis with extensive reading while researching. Students will be taught how to assess the credibility of sources needed for a research topic, and how to cite them properly. In addition, they are expected to deliver a well-organized oral presentation based on the research topics. A power-point presentation is expected as a culminated activity of this course. Approaches to report writing and academic research, methodology and citation styles such as MLA and/or APA are introduced and practiced.
