Translation and Interpretation Internship

Course Description

The course introduces the students to the professional translation through theory and applicable projects. Students will undertake translation of French and English newspapers, as well as day-to-day translation work. Throughout their internship, students record and analyze their experiences, and compile an internship report upon completing their placement. Students describe and analyze what they learn and the challenges that they faced in a comprehensive internship report. It is a practical training in a professional setting at conferences and international congresses using simultaneous interpretation supervised by the instructor.
