We are excited to share with you the success of our recent event at the American University of Culture and Education in Tyre Campus! We were honored to host the MILITARY COMMUNITY OUTREACH UNIT (MCOU) from UNIFIL, who gave a fantastic presentation about the history and role of UNIFIL in south Lebanon. The event was attended by a large group of students who were eager to learn more about the important work that UNIFIL does.
We were privileged to have two distinguished speakers at the event – MCOU Commander, Lt. Col. Giuseppe Manglaviti (Italian) and his vice MCOU DCO, Major Agan Permana (Indonesian). They shared their insights and expertise about UNIFIL’s mission in south Lebanon and provided a valuable perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the region.
We were also honored to have Mr. Habib Aziz from UNIFIL Affairs office participate in part of the representation. It was a great opportunity for our students to hear directly from such knowledgeable and experienced professionals.
At the end of the event, the MCOU team distributed souvenirs to the students, making it a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
